LGBT Community | Teens Must Know |

The term LGBT may be different for a naive child from an ancestral society. LGBT is the acronym that stands for Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender. 

[Lesbian - a homosexual woman (or) A woman attracted to other women
Gay -  a person sexually attracted to another person from the same gender (a common term used for men)
Bisexual - a person who is attracted to both the gender (both feminine and masculine) and they show the characteristics of both women and man 
Transgender - people whose gender identity, or their internal sense of being male, female, or something else, does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. They behave as a gender that matches them.]

Nowadays, many people start identifying their gender at a tender age itself, but they fail to express it to society at a right time. Parents and society play a very important role in the expression of their child's gender. Even civilized parents can't accept their child's gender identity. Parents always worry about the societies acceptance of LGBTs. 

Societies can accept a person who is no harm to the surroundings in any way. In such a way  LGBTs are no harm to the societies We all must understand that these changes are naturally occurring changes in human beings. It's just a change in their hormones. In many households parents simply waive their children or give them tortures in order to make them a common. At times people are just exiled out of their houses.  In societies, people do not treat LGBTs with due respect and with basic facilities. They are denied access to employment, education, shelter and etc,.

This practice must be stopped. LGBTs must be recognized, praised for their reveal, and must be respected equally as others. This transformation or identification is not bad in any way. These relationships are now legalized in many countries and they are provided with conveniences that were rejected for them.

As parents, people must give respect to their child's feelings and should understand the changes, and should let them free to live a life they want instead of forcing them to change. Parents must also teach their kids about these changes and make them respond to these changes in the right way if it affects them, they should make their child never disgraces one from the LGBT community. We must provide a free space for our children to share things. We should not provide a guilty feeling about it to our children. LGBT education should be added to their basic education.

As a teenager:

 

We must feel free to share things with our parents first. We should never feel guilty about the changes if it affects us. We can also help our peers with these if they require it. We should never bully or make them ashamed about their identity. We must treat them with due respect and get them their rights.

Nowadays, Societies are changing and they are also becoming a part of our community and slowly establishing themselves. We all must help and respect them.
