Hospital Clowning

Hospital clowns in the last 40 years have developed in number and today are an integral part of many hospitals around the world. Doctors say that with the intervention of hospital clowns their patients and in particular children the possibilities of cure are enhanced. They have noted that their reaction to treatment is more positive. Hospital Clowns are in great demand all over the world but what about India. Do their walk up to this idea will succeed. 


What is Hospital Clowning?

Hospital Clowning is also known as Clown therapy. Clowns concern the total family to heal the patients. Clowns just smash the status of nurses, doctors, patients and bring all of them in their act as if actors involve the audience. This eases the sufferer to improve their psychic health. The clowns who practice Hospital Clowning are known as Clown Doctors. Medical Clown therapy has been proved in research to hasten the recovery of patients by releasing natural endorphins in the body.

Then what about MBBS graduates???

They are to cure the patients clinically and clowns are to cure the patients mentally (especially children's)

  • Theatrical talent and many more
When a child sees a clown he/she mesmerizes themselves in comedies and enjoys themselves. This makes a child forget his/her illness and feel free to be inside the hospital. Hospital Clowning may sound dissimilar but let's make some difference.
